Mountain Biking - Hey New England riders.....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

.....What are people running for tires on their trailbikes? What do you think works well in our rocky, wet, root infested region? I've been pretty happy with my Schwalbe alberts 2.25's, but it's getting closer to replacement time. WTB timberwolf's have a decent looking tread pattern. Anyone use these? What else should I take a look at?

I have the WTB Weirwolfs that came on my bike. They grip very well but my one complaint is that they don't shed mud as easily as I would like. I also have a set of Maxxis Larsen TTs on my other bike, which work very well also.

I had a set of fairly old IRC tires that came stock on my bike(until the one in the back blewout) and they are pretty good. I myself would like to get somthing a lil better cuz they aren't all that good.
