General Cycling Discussion - New indoor bike stand!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Picked up a Delta Michelangelo for the condo and I love it. Way better than those black and blocky gravity stands. Also got the wife a new Specialized Dolce heh. It cut into my track bike budget though ;)

Racks are sweet! Are your wall really that green or is it just the picture?

I have one of those, and I love it! It really helps clean up a room and makes your bikes into a work of art

The walls are definitely green. There is also brown and blue.

Looks like you're watching something entertaining.
Why can't I call you Sh*^#ey?

Surely you know the answer to that?
I'm surprised no one else noticed the Tour was on the tv. I hope next year it's available in HDTV:D

Yikes!
Is this for some kind of psychological experiment for school? :)
What kind of installation did you have to do for the stand? It looks pretty sharp. Do the feet scratch your floors at all? And is that the wife's Dolce on the bottom? Cute dog, BTW. :)

The casters are rubber so they don't scratch the floor at all. It's just a rolling media shelf so there was no installing necessary. It's very clean and I love it myself.
Yeah that is the new Dolce on the bottom. And the dog just ate my assos cap so I don't think he's very cute at the moment :(
Oh and a 32" is plenty of television for me orangebang ;)

I was just getting ready to head out for a ride today and my wife walked out to say "have fun". My dog followed her outside and took a crap on my driveway!

That's what I thought until I got 50" of HD Plasma goodness.
Why do you have such big furniture if you're going to put a little tv in it? ;) That shelf is just BEGGING for more screen real estate.

I think the bigger you go the picture quality starts to suffer, plus I don't like plasmas. If you notice how close my couch is to my tv, well that is as far away as I can put it. If I had more room I might have gone up to a 37" but when checking out the bigger screens it made my place feel cramped.
I have been wanting to look at the Leonardo and the Davinci rack pieces for the closet. I have unused space that I can hang a few bikes on one side and install shelves/drawers on the other. I wonder how the sway would be during an earthquake.
