yeh so i just need to lube the threads on my pedals before i put them on my bike for the first time. dude at the LBS said to get any wheel bearing grease from an auto parts store. i just cant remember if he said to get Poly lube or Moly lube

so i went to AutoZone and got Valvoline Moly Enforced Wheel Bearing Grease

i can go get poly lube somewhere else but is it really going to matter?

For threads, it should work fine. I am surprised he didn't try to sell you some expensive bike grease.
