Foo - Baby Boy!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

After roughly 70 hours of unmedicated labor, my wife gave birth to our son yesterday. Both are doing well and are home. He is the most tolerant and calm baby I have ever seen! I'm sure that may change, but we're very thankful for that.
Here are the stats and I'm going to try to get some pics up.

What about the guys who do the RAAM? Going full throttle at 23 hours a day for 8 days?

What would you rather do, ride a bike across the country or piss out a kidney stone for 70 hours straight?

Would you rather pass a small jagged piece of mineral or a larger smooth orb? I passed a small stone once and it hurt like hell. I don't think I want to experience child birth but I bet it's about as painful as being shot in the leg with a .44 or having to cut your arm off.

Yeah, I'd rather ride across the country too.

It's actually not that bad.

Except the fact that metal isn't really very elastic.
Are those things contagious? Congrats!

She is one tough woman! She is a marathon runner, but I still love her, and has run 6 marathons and a 50K trail run. Plus she went through just over seven years of grad school, so she knows pain.

Oh sure! He's getting lots of sleep...while daddy holds him past midnight. He's been sleeping pretty well after that. The last two nights have only had two one hour feedings.:D
Thanks for all the congrats y'all!!:D :D I'm sorry that I haven't been as active on this board as I'd like to be. I've only recently found it, as well as only recently have started back to riding, and find that it is a great way to stay motivated to ride even after having long layoffs for one reason or another. Except of course for the P&R forum which just makes me mad, yet it's like crack.
