no way. Mt Blanc was visible from stage 17. Now I aint been there, but I'm sure blue moon isnt within 100 miles of there and the Heffeweisen isn't popular.
His breakfast was listed, meusil, omlet..more carbs..
He also said that after a day like 17 ya dont need all that much..
so not an ale, prolly... but something with lotsa malt and just enough alchehol to process out after a good nights sleep.
A mountain beer should have sugars of different sizes...
whereas a TT beer should have lots of small sugars, and not much alch.
Sunday night is an easy one though...champagne..and plenty of it.

Hold on there, cowboy. My uncle still buys Blatz longnecks by the case :p
There's no better pre-exercise beer than Guinness ;)

Geraldo: I didn't know Blatz was still in business. The last time I saw the Blatz name was an ad on the side of a NASCAR stock car in 1951.

As far as I know Blatz is alive and well (well, alive at least). I moved from Ohio two years ago, and at that time it was sold in stores, at certain bars, and as I said my Unc gets it in case quantities (the same way he drinks it) from a distributer. I'm not sure if Blatz's longevity is a testament to its quality ( ) or to the lack of taste of many, many people.

The name is owned by Pabst now since 1969, the Original Blatz office in Milwaukee has been turned into Condos...
They also own the rights to Lone Star, Shlitz, Olympia "its the water" and Schaefer !!! hahahaha...
