I need a longer seat post. I am looking at the carbon seat posts. Which one would be the best for the price. Weight really does not bother me.

Are the Weyless seat posts good or crap?

I would recommend the Easton. Generic CF stuff scares me, I don't want a post to fail in the middle of a ride. The Easton has a better adjustment mechanism than the USE, IMHO. Perhaps a trip to your LBS would be worth it to see what they have and suggest?

They dont really do much more than hold your seat so if it means anything,go for the lightest and if that doesnt matter,go for the cheapest.
The carbon pro is worth $10 more. The regular weyless is pretty crappy. You must be very careful as they are both very soft and the shaft is easily crushed.
That and you have to live with that ugly Weyless label on the post. The pro model looks like the Campy post.
I like the Easton, it's really nice and well made. Deda's blackstick is the best, I think.

I've used the Weyless Carbon seat post($49.95 version) for close to a year now and have had no problems or complaints, other than seat adjustability is a little tricky. I also use the Easton EC70 on one of my other bikes and have had good success with it, adjustability being much simpler. You can't go wrong with that Weyless for $49.95, the Pro may be easier to adjust though.
