It seems like everybody loves Landis and was inspired by his ride (for good reason). Is this how people felt when Lance won his first Tour?

How many more does Landis have to win before everybody starts hating him?

As long as he pops the occasional wheelie and talks about having a beer with his teamates after rides, he will stay fairly well-liked, IMO

Maybe only 2, but definitely by 3. And to the original poster, yes, everybody , even the French, loved Armstrong after his first win. I'd say Landis will get a grace period by the French press, but only until he wins again after a hip replacement. Then they'll start saying he's tainted, obviously drugged, or has had a hydaulic-atomic-electric hip put in or something.
