Do new chromoly frames already have framesaver in them from the factory? I'm talking specific to the Novara Randonee, for my bike, but in general too. So, if some companys do, which are they?

...also, how often do you recommend putting framesaver in a frame?

I've never heard of an off the shelf frame that comes with Frame Saver, so I'd be willing to bet that it does not have it. Sometimes custom builders will use it on a new frame, and they make sure to tell you about it.

A can of Frame Saver comes with detailed instructions.

Thanks for the input. I heard about some people completely disassembling the bike, fork and all before applying...is this necessary?

^^

I always do. But the Frame Saver instructions give you the choice to tear down or not.
