So, the dia-compe 287-V levers are designed to pull more cable, thereby operating a v-brake properly.
Has anyone tried setting them up with cantilevers to get extra mud clearance? Seems like you could set the pads much further away from the rim than usual, since the levers will pull more cable.
All fine and dandy in theory, but does it work in practice?
