Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Snday morning I was getting ready for work and I was watching the WB network. At 6 am this past Sunday they had a half hour show on mountain biking. It was a female host riding with a trail guide. Not much instructional on the tougher areas they went through but it was still a cool show. I have no idea if this is a reguar show or not. I will have to watch again this Sunday to see if it's on again. I'm guessing if it is that this woman gets to travel across the country and gets paid to ride the best mountain biking in the country. I forget where they were this past week, but I'm sure it was in the mountains of the Eastern US. I want to say the south too NC/SC maybe.

Keep us posted! Maybe just maybe it will be a regular show...ha ha ha. Ahhhh I can just think about DHTV or XCTV or FRTV...man oh man...you could pick your station and watch is on crapy days in the winter when you can't ride.....opps I'm drooling, gotta stop.

Keep your eye on CBS sports too everyone once in a while they will have a cool sporting event like the Xterra, tour de france, and a lot of other 24 hour and endurance races. I think its ussually on saturdays at noon so maybe you can get lucky and catch something moutain bike friendly.

The Simpsons (TV show on FOX) did a parody of a WB promo where the WB frog says,
"And coming up next on the WB... another lame-ass show that no one is watching."
Pretty funny :-)

Sounds like rideguides. Exactly like it. Problem is thats in Alberta and BC and doesn't stray to far. So I am guessing a rip off show. Either way mountain biking + TV = exposure :D
