I am the proud owner of an Arkel Tail Rider. I was so impressed with the design and quality of the bag, I bought the T-42 rear panniers from Arkel. With the panniers mounted on the rack, attaching the TR to the rack is PITA! Looks like the easiest way to do this is to use TRs velcro straps on the D-rings of the panniers. Does anybody have a solution for this fit problem?
Try contacting Arkel. Their customer service is second to none.

I have the tailrider as well. I use it for my day tours when I want to bring lunch, and a few extra goodies. It has worked very well for me. Also, I have the Arkel T-22 panniers. These are great for commuting, off to the beach, or all day tours and overnighters. I have used both together without any problems, but most of the time I'll use one or the other. Arkel customer support is great.
When I mount my Arkel Tail Rider with my Arkel Utility Basket pannier I loosen the velcro on the tailrider enough to allow the hooks and locking tab of the UB to slide into place under the Tailrider. Then I tighten the Tail Rider velcro to finish the install. I learned this from trial and error so there may be a better way out there or Ask Arkel!

Yep, got an email out to Arkel, and waiting on a reply. Thanks for the tips, if anyone has any more, chime in!
