There is nothing better than a mt. bike ride after work to relieve some of the stress. I just wanted to share a few pictures from one of my week day rides.
This is the kind of ride that I used to loath, it involves riding on pavement and fireroads. But after taking time to take in the scenery around me I realized that it was a great place to ride. How many people can say that they've ridden their bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge? I get to do it on a weekly basis. Plus the headlands has many climbs so it's a great place to work on your climbing. Nothing better than hill repeats after a long day at work.

Here are a few images from my ride:

Here is a view of the Golden Gate bridge from a distance:

Joe, nice pics, but where are you? At least get a picture of you bike leaning on something. Kinda like the tree that falls in the woods. If we can't see you, were you really there?

Later Gator:D

Lovely photos, Joe! Thanks so much. Still dark as I write this, but your pictures make me want to ride out along the Missouri River just after dawn with my camera.... Knowing me the way I do, I probably won't! ;)

I actually took a picture of my and my bike's shadow but I decided not too posted. I didn't think about propping up my bike with the bay in the background. When I post some pics from my Downieville ride you'll see plenty of my obsession.

The weather was incredible and the fog stayed away making it perfect for picture taking.

Well Rich, I think I'll stay in the Bay Area. The Bay Area doesn't have as much singletrack as I'd like but the scenery is hard to beat.

Wait until you see the pictures from Downieville. I hope they come out alright and give a sense of how beautiful it's in the Sierra mountains.
