I grew up in lake tahoe riding mountain bikes and bmx. Moved to san diego and the only way to go was with the beach cruiser. Now I am in SF, and I think my cruiser will do just fine...I don't know how all these people ride direct drives in city traffic? Was changing the fork on my schwinn cruiser, and was looking for some technical advise. I eventually figured it out, (I just had to hit the headstock with a hammer as it was rusted inside the old fork.) and found this site along the way. I know that I will use this site in the future when I have questions.
