Its dumb person talk for owned. We typically call it aolese and some of us hate it beyond belief.

I find aolese (or leet) very useful in constructing passwords. For security, our passwords at work cannot be words, and we have to change them every three months! Try to remember that!

But if you use leet,

Apparently random, more characters, much less likely to be cracked, but still easy to remember.

Shoot, I mark the spines of some of my 3 ring binders at work in leet. Makes them look like some strange computer code to the uninitiated.
