How does seat height affect speed on highracers? I noticed the Bacchetta Aero seat height is 23" while the Action bent highracer's seat is 25". would this mean that the Aero is faster because of the lower seat height?(assume weight is equal) I'm looking to get my first 'bent, but i'm shopping around a great deal before i sink some cash into one. I like the affordability of the Actionbent, but I'm not so broke that that's all i can afford. Thanks.

and what about a SWB with a seat height of 19"? is it more about seat height or rider position?

As I understand it, wind resistance is wind resistance. What makes for less wind resistance is ultimately NOT how high or low the seat is, but how RECLINED the seat is. A high-racer with a very reclined seat position (which the rider can adjust) could, theoretically, have less wind resistance (and thus be "faster") than a low-racer with a bolt-upright seat adjustment.

A more reclined the rider = less wind resistance = a (potentially) "faster" bike. I don't think there's much difference between the two models you mention in terms of aerodynamics, assuming the seats are equally reclined.
