Just want to say HI, and give ya'll a quick intro. Like, probably a lot of you, I rode bikes when a child, got a driver license, didn't ride for a quarter century. Until this summer, when a friend of mine gave me a 85 Cannondale SM 500, decided one day to go for a quick spin, and after wobbling around the block I was addicted, again. The whole family is now addicted. Most riding is done as a family. This has brought us more together, rather than each going about doing our own thing, we spend more time together riding. Have rode 3 Ohio rail-trails, along with the Greenbrier River Trail in WV and some single track and fire roads in WV.

I would like to take a moment and Thank all of you who were here before I came on board. This has to be the most civil forum on the 'Net. It is a pleasure to have an "adult" conversation without all the "bashing". An a very big Thank You to "Joe the janitor". Thanxz to all of you.

Heya, good to see another central ohioan. Not too familiar with the path system around Marion... but I am familiar with the nice paths around the Richland country/Clear Fork River area. Its a pretty nice setup... not to mention the healthy Brown trout spawn. Cheers! :)

Welcome!

You and the family will have to hop over to PA and check out some of our rail-to-trails.

Also, check out the the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath (near Akron, OH). It's awsome and great for family leisure trips. Rest stops every five miles or so, with real toilets and historical mini-museums. Very nice.
