Hey anybody knows how to take those hubs appart??? I dont need to do it now but i would like to be prepared in a future and because im super curious, anybody knows how to take the bearings out of a mack hub???

Maybe try taking them to a LBS or e-mailing Mack?

Hey mike... I have the pictures about how to do it. He sent me a few pictures so if u want them let me know. Tell me that arent the sweetest hubs ever? :) I build them with a set of araya rims and wheelsmith spokes... Super sweet tubular wheels as god commands :)

Mack hubs are awesome. I think this guy/girl in Poland machines them all by hand or something. They are so incredibly smooth. They look burly as hell, but they're surprisingly light. They spin so incredibly smoothly. The amount of detail in them is astounding (rescessed spoke holes, etc.) By far the best bike part purchase I've ever made. These seem so much nicer than the DA low flange hubs I was using.

Mine are 28h high flange, laced to Saavedra Featherweights with ovalized, aero spokes. So, so sweet.

Note: these are not my photos, I believe, they are from Mack, but I'm not sure. If they're someone else's, sorry and thanks.

I'm presuming they're cartridge bearings rather than cup & cone? Also assuming 120mm rear spacing; how's the chainline been for you - are you running these on a track frame w/ track cranks / BB??

Yeah, sealed cartridge bearings. Mine are 120mm spaced, but I think when ordering them, there might have been an option for wider, but I'm not sure. I've used these wheels on two bikes:

A KHS Aero track with Shimano BB and Sugino 75 cranks and

An early 80's Colnago Super Pista with new Campy BB and vintage Campy Record cranks.

Chainline was dead on with both of them. I'd assume they're the standard 42mm.

Awesome hubs.. the best buy ever. Too much quality for the price. Im waiting to get the money to get my second pair of hubs...

Looks like great quality!! Anyone know how to get some? I tried google but didn't come up with anything.
