PHONAK MADE IT PUBLIC. Becasue LANDIS HAS DISSAPEARED and everyone was JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS because Landis was one of only 4 riders tested on that stage.

Exactly – speculation was swirling and the team made the statements public.

Enough already with the conspiracy theories and the anti-Frnech flogging around here. Here are the facts:

(1) Flandis failed a test.
(2) They will test the the B sample which will almost certainly confimrm the results of the A sample
(3) Flandis will then have a chance to defned himself.

The exact same process would be playing out no matter what the nationality of the winner would have been. I know this is an “internet” forum, but for heavens sake have some common sense people.
