Lookin good.
The paintjob on the 2007 Rockhoppers is looking awesome :), way better than this year paintjobs, especially the ugly punk design.

lol you always say it's ugly... you said the same thing on the 07 rh comp disc forum too... i don't think it's bad at all, in fact i like the relief of blue from the rest of the silver frame.
that stuff aside, yes it does look really nice, a more stumpjumperish, xc-ish rockhopper is in session this year.
sleeker, faster looking... less bulky... although i must say it's a bit less durable frame than last year... but then again i'd probably never push my frame's strength to its limit anyway.
that easton bar isn't stock, right? :o
No that's not stock I had that switched out before I bought it. Pedals aren't stock either. I wanted to get some 50/50's but I wasn't willing to spend $80 on them.

I'm glad you can make judgements about the frames strength by looking at a side view pic. I wish I had those kind of skills.
For the OP,

Dang...I wish I would've known about those 50/50's before I got the Primos

well if you've seen the comp disc photos as well... the square tubes have now been ditched, and so has the monocoque at the end of the top tube connecting to the seat tube. it wouldn't make sense to make oval tubing thicker than the square tubes... comparing from the bottom of the seat tube (see how it gets slimmer, chainring picture on flickr) and the bottom bracket in comparison to the downtube... i'd say it's about the same diameter as the stumpjumpers. chainstay and seatstays look about the same. no skill involved, just comparison. bulky square tubing is stronger vertically, just heavy and unaerodynamic. if you disagree with that... look at most downhill machines... o wait nicolai doesn't have square tubing... ?? meh.

The comp also comes in a candy apple red(burgendy). I purchased the mat silver.

That punk design is my favorite, Thats why I bought my frame. I just wanted to buy better components and figured I would start from scratch. I think that the punk color is clean looking and even still cleaner without those v brake mounts.
