My first time to Crankworx and I'm really feeling it... saw the Slopestyle today and some Trials... pretty killer stuff... I'm dreading leaving on Sunday. Checked out the DH and XC too....

The Jump Jam should be UNREAL... wow, i'm loving life...

Some random dudes took videos of all the events and nightlife, and handed me a card with their website (www.summerdirt.com (http://www.summerdirt.com)). Check it out or not. I like the Brian Lopes interview and Helmet Cam stuff.

You are so lucky, that is the only thing I can dream of watching. You see something new every year. Hockey, Soccer, they are all great, but nothing beats the rowr of the fans after Paul Bass pulled off the double no foot nac-nac, it was like a football staduim as Camron Zink would describe it as.

Nope everything is free...

Real bonus has been my VIP tickets. I got myself 2, free booze (yep watched bikecross a little buzzed) and free food...best year ever and I have been coming to these for 3 years. Oh and the location was mint...yehaw

Gastro, you should have taken them tonight, sooooo worth it....can't wait for slopestyle tommorow, we will have to trade up, no ID required and they didn't want a pass matching my hotel specific VIP pass, so you could watch the prelims and we could finish off with the finals.

cheers

I rode with them...Monday night, Wednesday and gave them some directions for some trails for last night. We were supposed to hook up tonight too but the village was PACKED. The other days they got hooked up by some other buds.

Gastro will probably fill ya in on the details, some bbq's beer and a couple of good nights. Hope they enjoyed themselves, its been good having some out of towners to show around a little. Not gonna give away too many details as its their story to tell haha

I know from my perspective its felt like a couple of days...next time = bigger crowd + more time + 1.5 months ago = MORE KILLER TIME...
