Just signed up and wanted to say hi. I'm 20 year old college student from the suburbs of Chicago. I got a new Trek 2006 a week ago and simply love it. I haven't rode a bike in so long (well I guess since I was 15) because I have driven everywhere. But I'm riding everyday and love it. I may have some dumb questions along the way so bear with me

Welcome Jake! You'll like riding more than driving. Cheaper and it gives you a better workout than driving and chicks dig atheltic d00ds.

Jake27, there are tons of Chicagolanders on the boards. If you're a road rider, there are a bunch of us who meet up at Sunday club 'charity' rides once in a while, so keep an eye out.
