depends on the frame size.
But I think the 2003 1000 I had was around 21 pounds in a 56cm frame.

I've had mine for 2 years but haven't weighed it once. All I can tell you is that it's a great ride. Buy it.
Uhm... it's light enough that when I ride my 60cm I'm not thinking "Damn, I need a lighter bike."
It's light enough that people who don't have multiple thousand dollar full carbon fiber race bikes lift it and say, "Not bad, not bad!" with a surprised look on their face.
On the other hand, it certainly is no full carbon fiber race bike. :)
It's a good ride; the front derailleur and brakes leave a bit to be desired, but a Tiagra FD is cheap and a new set of pads would clean the brakes up fine.
I love mine.

i have an 04 and like it as much as my sarthe. the sarthe is slightly lighter. but the 1000 is very light considering its an entry level bike. i would recommend one to anybody. only suggestion would be get different shifters because the sora shifters suck IMO you cant reach them in the drops. i was thinking of making a little adapter to go on the shifter to extend it a little so you can reach it but i have never gotten around to it.
i changed to wheels and tires only and it rolls great.
