I receieved an email alert from Nashbar three days ago offering the Phonak jerseys at the sale price so I hardly see this as a reaction from them.Since Phonak is changing names next season they probably got a boatload at a discount. I myself don't wear team jerseys.Black shorts and solid color jerseys for me and I have never payed more than 20 bucks, as I wait for sales and close outs!

....definately a reaction to the 'ugliest' team kit ever...& also to try & off load them on the back of Floyds 'win' before the team changes sponsorship/name......you'd reckon with all the money sponsors throw at pro tour teams they'd spend some on getting some advice on making a reasonably attractive kit, so at least they could recoup some money on royalties from sales. I don't recall seeing anyone who wasn't been paid to wear Phonak gear, wearing it.....I certainly wouldn't be paying for the privilege of wearing it! :D

Heh. And yet I don't find the jerseys themselves unpleasant. Transfer those colors to the bikes themselves however, and you have a visual horror. Perhaps it's just me, but a green bike is fine, a yellow bike is cool, but a green-AND-yellow bike is a horror. :eek:
