hey I'm getting a new Banshee Scream Frame set before the summer but i'm having trouble finding a headset and stem that i want. I'm looking for something that will take a lot of punishment but look good and not have me leaning to far forward. It'll be for freeriding by the way(drops and ladder bridges mostly). Does anyone have any suggestions? :beer:
Thanks

Race Face Diablos Stem, 90mm with a Chris King SteelSet Headset.
Bombproof.
If not your style, try an Azonic Shorty stem with an FSA Pig Headset. Designed for the rigors of DH and DirtJumping.
Or, ....?

That bike needs this
Otherwise FSA pig headset is the best headset for pure value. Its quality is up there with chris king but its price is really low :)

I have been using the Diablo now for 2 months. No flex, no sliping, no problems.
My headset of choice is a Hope Enduro. the only prob is you need to find a dealer across the pond to sell ya one. They do not sell them in the States. SS races, aluminum shell and needle barings all the way around. Also alot of seals to help keep the nasties out. I have beating mine now for 3 months and it never works lose and because of all the seals I can ride during rain storms and water never gets inside.
If you do not want the hassel of finding one I would say either the ChrisKing or FSA PigPro DH.

Here ya go;
HOPE (http://www.hopetech.com/products/products_index.htm)
eastcoast- I'll probably torque off all my friends by saying this, but buy the cheapest cool looking headset you can find. You can buy a sealed bearing headset with replaceable bearings for about $30 and it can even have a sweet looking lizard on it. Don't fall for the hype! Spend your cash on gas to take you to a cool trail!

I just had the FSA pig headset installed and have no complaints as of yet. I also only paid 35 for it some I think I got a good deal.
