Training & Nutrition - Spinervals - big ring, small ring ?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've been doing some Spinervals on the trainer,
when coach Troy refers to the big or small chain ring,
is this 52/39 or 52/42 ?

When Coach Troy refers to "The Big Ring" he means 52 (if that is what you have); and when he refers to "The Small Ring", he means the 42 (if that is what you have), or the 39 (if that is what you have…)
Sound reasonable? Good…
PS: rollers are much more fun than fixed trainers…
