Cool avatar! I see you've been a BF member for a few months now but "Welcome!", anyway. What part of the bay area do you call home? I'm down in the So. Bay and ride mostly up the peninsula and the S.C. Mtns. I'm a roadie, myself.

I live in San Jose. I am new and addicted to this sport. Started out as a mountain biker 6 months, 25 lbs, ago, I now mix road and mountain. Recently I ride on the road more to increase my long-distance endurance... on my mountain bike w/ slick tires. Next year I'll probably buy a proper road bike.
