Just wonder if any of you are using this brand, and what you think of them?

My current shoes, 18 year old LOTTO's, are also a single velcro strap, which pulls to the outside. These Garneau's seem to pull to the inside, which I thought was odd. Maybe the picture is deceiving?

I have them and love them. The strap pulls to the inside so it can't get eaten by your chain rings...

Have been wearing them for almost 2 years now -- fit me well and have held up nicely.

I am assuming you mean for people who put their shoes on AFTER they start riding? That would kind of make sense for a TRI-specific shoe.

Thanks to both of you for the input.

I just logged on to PERFORMANCE to order the shoes. Sale price has been 99 bucks for the last month, including last night. Logged on today, back up to 139.

I called and placed order on the phone, and she got them for me for 98!!;) Also got a couple jerseys, a cool max headliner, and some break pads.

Should be here by Weds! (Paid 15 vice 11 for express shipping!)

Well, I got the shoes this afternoon. Unfortunately, they are too wide and fit sloppily. The length is correct, but they feel like boats on my feet. Cant get them tight enough, and there is too much slop at the top around the heel.

Oh well, I will try another shoe, this time one I can try on in a shop first!
