Professional Cycling For the Fans - what does bobby julich have to say?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

he had a live interview scheduled to talk about the issue, but crashed his TT bike on the way to it.

Maybe he's smart enough to keep his mouth shut, unlike twats like Kloden, Zabel and Armstrong.

I believe a "MOD" for this forum was killing bobby J for a while .......

Micro fratures and open wounds that show to the bone are for sissies. Real men break bones in at least two places.

maybe the injury was legit but as soon as i saw bobby J hit the deck i knew he was finished. deja vu all over again.

you watch these guys race for awhile and you figure out who the real strongmen are....

tyler hamilton placing in the giro with a broken collar bone.

jens voight and thor hushovd getting stitched up and soldiering on.

matthias kessler riding in shock with rocks logded in the vents of his helmet, and then riding tempo the next day for his team.

40-year-old Viatcheslav Ekimov finishing all 15 tours that he raced and quietly calling it a day. ekimov, who beat lance armstrong one year at the tour dupont.

the one thing these riders, including bobby j, have in common is they are predictable.

I don't understand this...is it an insult?

Well whatever else you want to say about him, about three weeks on from his fall, he took sixth trying to defend his UCI two-man TT title with Jens Voight.

I met Bobby Julich and Frank Hoj at the Protour race in Philadelphia in 2004. My team won the 'Messenger Challenge' that day. We caught up with them on the hill and they were awesome!

We talked for a while and got some pictures. Bobby said that he was going to become a messenger and take us on for our medals!

I talked to Frank Hoj quite a bit that year as well, but at the Clarendon Cup. The whole team in fact, was hanging out signing autographs and posing with fans for photos. They were all really cool. It helped their mood that Lars Michaelson had just won the race...
