Hey guys,
My brother's wedding is on September 16th and I just decided that it is a good reason to do my first century. If anyone knows a good low traffic route from Eugene Oregon to Oregon City(or Portland) Oregon, please let me know.

Or is there anything like mapquest for bikes?

Thanks Mike Perrault

The lowest traffic route isn't usually the shortest and not always the safest. The recent bicycle fatality we had SW of Eugene on Territorial Rd. points out that. The best recommendation I can give for Eugene to Oregon City, is to stick to the linking roads between the small towns on the eastside of the valley. I'd start out on Coburg Rd., to that town and from there to Brownsville, on to Lebanon and Silverton and then over to Hwy 99E to Oregon City. There are several side roads you can take between most of those towns. It'd be nice if there was a separate bike path that paralled Interstate 5, for longer-distance trips like yours. All the extra miles you'll cover jogging back and forth between those towns will take longer than you'd expect, so it will be a very hard and long day's ride. Good Luck.
