are they any good? I can get Chorus hubs with either Open Pros or Colnago Signature Excellence rims. If the Colnago rims are comparable with Open Pros, I'll get them because they're in blue. I know Colnago makes great bikes, but don't know anything about this rim.

I think Colnago labeled stuff is just another brand, just has the Colnago name on it.
I've see Campagnolo rims with Colnago labels on it and ITM stems with Colnago labels, Selle Italia seats with Colnago labels and so forth.
All of the equipment is high quality so you don't have to worry about that but usually the Colnago labeled stuff is alot more expensive when the only difference is the name on the wrapper, or color in your case.
I'm sure you can buy them in confidence that it is a good product.

I think the rims may be made by Ambrosio; they have a rim called Excellence which is similar in appearance to the Colnago Signature Excellence rim. They're 460g, but I don't know how they match up with my needs, which are durability/performance, not racing.

Open pros were available in blue and are still around on closeouts.
