I recently got a new bike (Trek 7200) after watching the Tour for the past three years and my friend telling me to get one. I really wanted to get one for exercise, as I hate jogging and there isn't much hiking here in flat Houston.
It's been probably 12 years since I've ridden a bike, so I'm still getting used to being in the saddle.

Aloha, alohaboy! There are a lot of us who are just getting back into cycling after many years. In due time, you will get stronger and better. Next thing you know, you will be buying a new bike to suit different needs.
