General Cycling Discussion - Jealousy

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Jealousy is cruel...
Jealousy is a form of coveting, and coveting is a manifestation of greed, and greed doesn't pay. This simple fact will be discovered eventually by exploitative governments, ruthless employers, and everybody without exception that falls into the trap of greed.
But in the meantime, greed, and hence jealousy, are actively promoted in today's media, taught (alas) by many parents (look at the soccer-and-hockey rage stories, cheerleader murders, etc.), and glamorized by movies and TV.
Yes, Pete, I concur: jealousy is cruel.
Jealousy is no fun at all!!! I find you get more out of life to be content with what you have, and to find pleasure in small things.
