So, as some of you have read, seafoam has been without her Specialized Sirrus due to a cracked frame. Yesterday she barely kept up with me on a rented Specialized Expedition with the big knobby tires. Today, she was riding (thanks to a loan from a friend) a....somewhat better bike......and I mostly stared at her way ahead of me! It may not "be the bike" completely..but it don't hurt!

Sure Dauphin, blame it on the bike! I think Seafoam just has your number.
(It is a nice bike though)

I think we ought to hear Seafoam's version of this.

Perhaps this is the first time she has been out on a bike not doctored by Dauphin. Perhaps she decided to let Dauphin realise that she needs a better bike, or Perhaps Dauphin was just having off off day.

Has Dauphin been pulling the old "adjust the brakes until they drag a little" trick.

Here's the one she gets to ride tomorrow...the local bike shop is getting it ready for a test ride!

Course she will- Its a bianchi and its in a girlie colour- Don't they do it in Bianchi Celeste?

Have had a Bianchi Mountain bike for 5 years now and It is a fantastic bike. Got to get that colour right though, or is it just the old school coming out in me.
