Hello all again,

I had something wierd happen yesterday and I was wondering if this is something normal for a new or returning rider or if it is unique...

Sunday was my first day back on the bike, and I rode 27 miles. Tuesday night I rode 20 miles, kind of easy but a workout. I also worked Monday and Tuesday nights, at a not so sit down job (making pizzas  ). Wednesday at work I was REAL latargic, weak, like I would not move fast... everything was really slow. I am not sure what the problem was but I went home and just crashed in bed, and slept for 12 hours. I have been getting 8 hours a night previously.

I have a wierd feeling this is a hormonal issue (personal, not normal) but then this really never happened when I was racing! Ideas?

Mandy

Hey, some days are better than others. Sunday was probably the best day you've had in awhile! Congrats. :) I hope stuff is working out for you.

hey, i get this from time to time. i'm not certain of the issue, so i can't help much. however, somedays i just get so tired that i just lose all motivation. it's not a mental issue, like depression, it's feels mostly physical. like i'm glued to my chair and it takes an enormous effort to just get up.

usually a hard sleep of 10+ hours does the trick.

As a father of 3 kids (all less than 6yrs) I couldn't tell you last time that I got more than 8hrs of sleep.
