I want my friday afternoon...I want to be out of here, and I want to get my apartment project rolling. I need to get all home improvement up in it. New bed, new couch, refinish the tv stand, add real metal feet to it (matching feet on speaker stands), computer desk...a chest of drawers.

Really, I am embarassed of the disarray in my place and it needs to stop.

...the bed and couch are crap....on;ly thing keeping the bed usable is the sawhorses I am using to support the broken frame.

Yup I've got home projects too I'm neglecting, like organizing what has become the Bike Shop into something workable and orderly (and not look like a Performance-sponsored tornado hit the place), some landscaping ideas and making the backyard somewhere people would actually want to hang out. Ah the joys of (first) homeownership....

Today is my Friday, yea! Our offices are closed on Fridays during the summer; three day weekends until October. I guess it makes up for all those one day weekends during tax season.

Looks like a short weekend for me....I jsut got upped in responsibilities at work...Now, I don't just work 6 lines, but 10 lines....freaking great....I have to pull saturday morning now.

On the bright side, since I technically run this entire mofo now, i can probably use it as leverage for a good raise come next march :)

:( I got work tomorrow again....at least I can get some readding out of the way...more screen gazing again.

I might get bored and fire up one of our production backup units and play with labview a bit tomorrow. I've been itching to see what I can do with it. I might even make a sequence and see if I can set up a miniature test environment.

Pretty much saturdays at work is so slow that I need to find ways to keep occupied....and sadly I'm not allowed to huck my mountain bike off of a few test chambers, nor play video games, and definately not set anything on fire....they seem to really dislike fire there for some reason...*shrug*...oh, and water....electronics get thirsty too you know! :p
