They called the early part of the 20th century "nineteen-O-six", how come we don't say,"it's the year twenty-O-six"?
I figured I'd let it slid the year "two thousand" came around cause saying "twenty hundred" just didn't sound right, but I guess everyone just stuck with the whole "two thousand and..." thing.
Funny, I nust heard a newsman use Twenty o six the other day. <shugs>

Nineteen-oh-six is easier to say than one thousand nine hundred and six.

I call it "20 ot 6". Its the 100th anniversary of the 30/06, may as well make it sound like it.

most people are reffering (sp?) to the 2012 olypics as twenty-twelve rather than two thousand and twelve. but hey, there is no precedent for this so i say call it what you want!

I've only heard people say the two thousand so far except for the 2012 Olympics. I guess we gotta get out of the 00's...

Location: Where I am now is working on my future location. I also wanted to type something here just to see how much this space can actually hold because it seems to me like it goes on forever unlike the space they give you to type in under your user name.
