I've seen Bazooka folders on Ebay - wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge about them.. Thanks. Tori

I took a quick look at their web site. Seem a bit inexpensive. May be a spin-off of the older Montague bikes. There is even a version of the massive Workman utility trike (yick).

I bought a Bazooka Dakar last year. I bought it from a eBay vendor who may have been attached to the manufacturer/distributor as he was in the same lower BC area. There were a few minor problems...the little stand on the bottom of the frame was installed backwards and soon broke and they forgot to include the pedals when they shipped it...it also came with some paint chipped...I think I got one of the last ones in the batch and they sent the dregs. The sent a replacement stand and the pedals shortly. The rim of one wheel wasn't smooth where it was joined to itself, causing the braking to be jerky, and I swapped the suspension seat post for a solid one as it was my first and I didn't like the bounce and wobble.

The bike functioned well and was easy to fold. It was a lot lighter than the steel mountain bike beater I was used to and the gearing was good for climbing and shifted smoothly and predictably. To my surprise I could do a lap of the highschool track as fast as on my road bike, presumably because I could take the tight dusty corners with more confidence about not skidding out. Since it was a full size folder, it wasn't that easy to to carry up to my office, so I locked it outside and it was stolen after about 3 weeks.
