As we all know, cycling to work has it's ups and downs. We've done a pretty fair job here of noting the downs. This week has been, well, oddly good. I'm sure for saying this I'll get run over by a truck, but thought I'd share.
This week:
No one cut me off or almost ran me over. No evasive action required.
A young kid in the back of a car excitedly pointing me out to his mommy as I kept pace right behind them for three blocks.
A fellow pulling up at a light and telling me how marvelous my calves were (ok that was creepy too).
Two other fellows in a covertible yelling "Niceth legths Lanceth!" as they passed.
Three hotties (female this time) egging me on as I tried to keep pace with them (it was the TURBO beetle :p ). Thanks for the view, ladies. :D :D :D
And lastly, the utter look of shock  as I passed a guy in the left lane for going too slow.
I had a good week. My legs are sore, too. :p
