Floyd Landis proved he was "King of the Malfunctions" in the 2006 Tour de France by a decisive margin.

Nothing can take away that title or the coveted Blue Jersey he worked so hard to earn.

Java man, I thought the same thing. How many points do you get if you have a defective steroid patch that diffused too much too quickly?

Breaking News: Floyd Landis' road bike has tested positive for Performance Lunarlite tubes (yes I know they use tubulars but work with me here.) These items have to known to increase an athletes performance in the malfunction competition by up to 500%. The 'B' test of Floyd's rear wheel is expected sometime later this month.

How many dumb ass amish guy points do you get for falling for the old WTG <<testosterone patch>> pat on the back gag? How much do you wanna bet it's still there?

Wow! Do you think Zabel will protest? If Floyd is DQ'd from GC, how will the other riders take it? This is a huge ruling.

I remember Bobke saying that winning the Tour is about overcoming adversity. Everyone has technical difficulties from time to time. He never crashed or went off course. He had an easy tour.

Why would anyone bother to sabotage Landis after Stage 16?

Zabel hasn't protested so far...:)

I think Eric Zabel could wear the Blue Jersey next year, but only if he trains harder in the off-season.

So with Floyd's absence, does that mean going into day 1 Zabel wears the blue jersey or does it resort to the previous champion Rassmussen?
