Foo - I just realized something.

Anyone know what's up with boogs and siu blue wind? she deleted her sig and information in her profile and stopped posting a few days ago. Whenever she is logged on yahoo, and I log in she logs out. Anyone know what's up?

Ack, I hate not knowing what's going on. My sista might be emotionally or physically hurt somewhere :( all alone :(

sometimes I think when you let online stuff make you upset that's when you have to realise that you made it bigger when what it should be.. this should be a hobbie, something to add excitment to your work day or a place to take advice and good laughs.. a place where you can come to but also walk away easily from, not something that becomes your replacement for real interactions in life... not saying she or he did.. that just made me think of this... if I didnt get random then this wouldnt be me!:p

I think some people tend to forget that the words you are reading were typed by a REAL person with REAL feelings. Treat them the way you want to be treated.

Perhaps certain individuals need to engage the brain before the fingers, or return to kindergarten. Humor at someone elses expense is NOT humor, its just wrong!

Sadly, that's been happening far too often as of late. Sometimes it's difficult to remember when you don't know the person personally, and they're just a name on the computer screen. But yes, we all are real people, and sometimes with very different personalities than yourself. Hopefully some of the frustration that's been spilling over in the last few weeks will mellow out as fall approaches. The high temps, the TdF fiasco, being at work when one wants to be riding, etc has had a lot of tempers on the short side.

Fair enough, but Foo adds excitement to my day and gives me laughs because of the people posting. If people like Siu and Boogs leave, it will change the character of the forum. In the long term, it won't matter much -- an internet forum is always going to be in flux -- but in the short term, I think it's fair to say we'll miss Siu's and Boogs's contributions.

Of course.. Just saying that sometimes a break is all that's needed to put it back in perpectives and come back fresh. Im not going to pretend I know what happend, cause I dont but hopefully that will be the case and they will both come back soon :)

I read it as "people shouldn't be upset that Siu has left, since there's a whole other world out there", when what you meant was if someone is upset, then it's not a bad idea to take some time off to put things in perspective. Maybe my misreading was an unintentional slip revealing my distress that Siu is gone :o :)

There are more nice people than just siu. Granted, she was nice, and did add a bit of life to the boards. But there are lots of other great people here in Foo and elsewhere on BF's.
