I was just wondering: How many White Jersey winners have gone on to win the tour? On the flipside, how many of the winners were ever the white jersey winner in earlier years?
How many people have won with multiple specialty jerseys? I think I read somewhere that Merckx (sp?) won some races in his career with more than one of the jerseys (Green, Polka, Yellow)...
Sorry not to say anything about doping, just can't think about it any longer, too depressing.
