I am new here and to the cycling world. I am trying to figure out what type of frame that I have. The person I bought it from said it was a late 80's early 90's Specialized frame but I am unsure. It has a carbon top and down tube with alluminum forks. If need be I can send a pic if anyone has any idea. After researching the web for about 2 hours I think it looks more like an older Trek but still i am unsure. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks :D

Giant also made a bike similar to the one you describe, I forgot what the name was. Welcome to the forums.

Edit: They were marketed under the Cadex brand.

Actualy I sent a picture to someone at Specialized.com and they Identified it for me. It is a Specialized Epic carbon frame. I have a lot of work to do to it before it will hit the road though. Thanks
