Cyclocross - F1X Owners - A canti question

So I have 2 F1X's and i hate the tektro cantis. I'm wondering if any of you out there have successfully changed out the brakes. I ask because of the weird location of the rear brake cable stop (mounted to the left side of the seat tube. Because the cable stop is off center, i cant seem to use any canti that does not use a link-wire straddle cable thingy (like the tekto, avid style). I want to use a spooky or an empella, but they dont have individual spring adjustment, so they always pull asymmetrically. I have tried to use a centered hanger on the seat tube, but that doesn't really work either because of the way the seat tube sticks up from the tt. any suggestions?? thanks

I ride the Paul Cantis and love them. Easy to set up, and have individual spring adjustment. The MTB type pads are so much easier to set up then the post style. I don't think
using a straddle and yoke set up should be a problem with the offset on F1X.

i like it because it's nice and long, which means less of a bend in the cable housing and because it has a built in barrel adjuster, which just generally comes in handy.

as far as having your brake centered, it must not matter too much because the guy riding this bike:

I bought the F1X as a frame and put on Avid Shorty 6's on it. No problems.

Waddaya mean, the empella's pull asymetrically?

They have a cool yoke connector that enables you to exactly position the position on the straddle wire and lock the connector into that position.

Each 'leg' of the canti has it's own spring.
