Just curious.
I've had them all. Polished Chrome, Silver, Black, Red, Green...etc.
Currently, my mtn bike is white w/black,yellow and a tiny bit of red.
Road bike is Yellow and Blue.
BMX bike is Black w/Red & White.
I think a Red bike always looks the fastest.
A yellow bike is a beautiful thing!
A polished (either Chrome or Ball barnished) ranks right up there!
But, of all the colors, I always love a black bike. I don't really know why, but always have! And really, a Black w/Red bike!

Oops, forgot to mention Natural Ti finish. I had a Ti frame that I bought, but never built up. That was a sweet looking frame!
BTW, why would anybody paint a titanium frame? We had a Yellow Litespeed in the shop the other day. I just get stumped wondering. Why add the extra weight to a beautiful finish?

a bright blue or yellow color so your bike is easy to spot when it goes flying off in to the bushes;)
<-- black ;)
On auto's I've always love bright red, my MR2 is very red, thus I think I would dig a red bike.

Flat black or flat white. I hate shiny bikes. :)

yellow. the color of my bike :D
Silver ! The stumpjumper i just bought is "dream silver". The second i walked into the showroom and saw it i knew i had to have that color.:D My car is silver too. I just like that color because it's not loud, not boring, and looks like quality to me. It also doesn't show dirt like most other colors. I guess you could say that when it comes to vehicles i just love silver. For some reason tho, i wouldn't want a silver motorcycle.......at least i don't think i would.:)

Black. but.....It looked awesome when new, still looks great from a distance, but up close it has a zillion scratches that wouldn't show up in a different color. It gives it character though.

That's hard to say...Mine is red and silver and looks great. Pretty much any neat paint job looks good (even if it's a Kona color). I've noticed some colors go better on different frames than others (for example, black seems like more of a FS color to me, while blue is a hardtail thing). Maybe I'm just weird like that.
Also, the best color of all: Mud :D

Black or polished. Polished is the best though because you don't have to worry about paint getting scratched off. I have both painted and polished, my polished bike I just toss into the truck, the painted one however I feel like I have to put it on a truck bed full of pillows.
Flow Red Specialized S-Works hardtail. Built up weighing less than 20 lbs. That's my favorite color.

I have a custom metallic burgendy red paint job on one of my bikes. It is a traditional stove-enamel job by Bob Jackson, and turns heads wherever it goes.

My favorite paintjob:
- Chipped paint (color doesn't matter).
- Splatter of blood.
- Good dose of dirt and/or mud.
Glowing, sparkling, blemish free paint on a MOUNTAIN bike tells me one of two things:
- It's brand new - and this is OK.
- It's not ridden hard enough!
Bass boat blue/silver or yellow. Team Yeti turquoise is growing on me too.

Yellow..... I have the felt f-65 and I think yellow is a great color for a bike
My new Kona Manomano is black and that looks cool too
Yellow. My Gemini passed its frame recall check. If it had failed, I would have asked for the 900 yellow frame as a downgrade. The other 900 forest leaf is also very nice as well.
But, yellow it would and should be.

Nice bright metallic cobalt blue! :) That's what first caught my eye on the bike I ride now....lucky thing it was a pretty good one for the category.
Black or any related color. Especially a dark graphite or a flat black color and maybe a little bit of silver or white trim. White bikes are pretty nice too I guess I'm not a colorful person lol.

BLACK & RED
My old Nishiki Ariel had a deep blue with little speckles of various colours. It looked light a night sky so I just coined it "midnight blue". My current bikes are carbon fibre and I chose the CF weave finish for my road bike (didn't have a choice for my MTB) so they're carbon grey. I also like the look of brushed aluminum and titanium. Although I sometimes wear flashy jerseys I prefer muted colours for my bikes.

Brushed silver. Or combos of black/silver/white. Ice blue. I don't know why, but I hate yellow on a bike. Don't like red either unless it's with mostly white.

That "Kale" that Cannondale has been using, almost bought a F900, but they only had the small in flat black.
Also Scuba Yellow, Kona's "Dr Dew" green, then Blue, then...
I love the color of my Trek 6700. Flat black with silver lettering. Yummy!:D I also liked the polised aluminum on my old cannondale.

Definitely YELLOW! My Yeti is yellow and is a real eye catcher with black chain stay.
How could you paint a bike just one color after you have seen a Colnago bike.
hey hawkphoto. Is that a 99 Rockhopper comp? It just looks the same as mine :)
Go the Green!

Piano black! My Mantra is exactly that color and so is my Attitude. The Mantra is shiny and new, rode it about a half dozen times, the Attitude is.....not shiny and not new...rode it everywhere, snapped cables and chains and tacoed rims, etc.
when I'm no longer wiping out, I'll start riding the Mantra....man, it's been a few years since I've been on that baby.

I like my blue carbon frame Cannondale with yellow lettering. The carbon weave gives it a three dimensional look that's cool. My Answer carbon bars look cool too.

I just saw an awesome paint job on this Scott bike I think it was, it was a polished aluminum frame with black and red flames. If there was a drooling smilie then I would use that but there isn't one...:D :D
