Foo - High deff streaming video

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Sweet, someone figured out how to do high definition streaming video (http://dvlabs.com/). And it does not take forever to load (coming from someone using a broadband connection, so take that with a grain of NaCl).

We've had that technology for ages.
My time warner coax brings me internet access and streams 200 channels right into my HDTV. :p
In fact, I'm "streaming" the morning news at 720p right now into my tv and browsing bikeforums at the same time.
What they seem to be doing is just compressing it in flash. I've seen the same thing with the lance commercials on the nike website. They come in in really high resolution but there's something off about the frame rates, it's laggy.
