How do I get a bigger avatar pic? I know its the wrong forum, but I'd never get any replies in user assistance. Seeing as I'm not especially good with computers, please explain to me in reasonably simple terms how I can get a bigger avatar. I may be too stupid to figure it out anyway, but what the heck, I think its worth a shot. Thanks in advance.

Its hard to get a red star when you don't know where to send the money. Again, somebody please tell me.

Okay, so I've upgraded my membership. What do I do now to make my avatar bigger?

A Swedish avatar enlargment pump?

You do that at the User Control Panel.

You have to make the source image larger on your own computer before you can upload it to BF.

I helped BeeTL on this same thing. If you want to PM me with the basic file you used, I can help you resize it to the 100x100 pixel limit.

By the way all you red star people (and blue star person), is it worth it? Do you smile when you see your HUMONGOUS avatar and no ads? I'm tempted.

I got my red star not for a bigger avatar, but to support the Board. I get SO much from these pages...
I like having all the various input, hearing (er, reading) the variety of experiences, seeing photos of beautiful places, making new friends....

For me, it's totally worth it.

The thing is, I upload my avatar pics directly from "my pictures", and they are like 5x5" on my screen, then they get downsized automatically. If its that tricky, I'll have my computer genius friend do it for when he finaly gets back from Progue. He's an administrator on another forum, so he could certainly help me.

Google & download erfanview... use the resize feature there to make it 100x100. It's a simple pgm to use.

Well that was easy. I just reset my avatar to the same image and it automaticaly jumped up a size.:)
