I have no problem with Yusef Islam or whatever he is calling himself
now other than his support of the Fatwah against Solomon Rushdie for
writing a work of fiction. Seems to me he has strayed a long way from
his peace train days, and that may not be a good thing.
I know very little about his politics, nor what his school in the UK is teaching
so I'll leave that to others.
I did have Tea for the Tillerman, one of my favourite albums of the era. . .

we lose a few to scientology, some to ja **'vaz witnesses, some to that weird thing madonna joined -(ka'balism?), and some to Islam.. oh, well. Isn't he trying to get a lot of the old ''Cat Stevens'' music banned? Seeing as how it is ''unIslamic'' .. -or for that matter, seeing as how 'all' music is 'unIslamic' :D-? I dunno, that's what I read about him anyways..
