Commuting - Light Rechargeable via Trigger

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I came across the TriggerLite (http://triggerlite.com/index.php) the other day and decided to pick one up for my son to play with (he loves flashlights, and this one is self rechargeable). I soon found out that it's much brighter than I expected. It would work pretty well as a to-be-seen bike light. It was only $7 and has 3 pretty bright LEDs with a bluish color. When it gets dark I'll take some comparison pictures of it and my Cateye EL-500 and post them here.

Cool. So now I just have to figure out a way to put a cam and push rod on my front hub to power it... ;)
(Sorry, I am an engineer. My brain is always trying to figure out how to make something work)
