Greetings from the desert known as Denver, CO.
My name is Eric but my friends call me Cheezer. I rode mountain bikes quite a bit untill about 9 years ago when adult life made it hard to find the time. Well I've just purchased a new bike and and am looking foward to getting back into riding shape.

The bike =
'03 Specialized Rockhopper "Custom".
I call it custom because I had the shop install XT brakes and shifters and XTR f/r derailers and a 9 speed cog at the time of purchase. I would like better shocks but the Axles that came with it will have to do for the time being.

I'm looking foward to chatting with y'all and regaining my knowledge of the new MTB technology.

It'll be awhile untill I'm in that kind of shape. I probably didn't need that high end of components right now but the shop gave me the difference in cost from the junk that was on there plus they installed it all for FREE. I think I got are very nice bike to start back out on for a really good price.
