Hi all

I went for a test ride yesterday to experiment with my new disc brakes. I had a water bottle with me and every now and then i pourred water on the rotors. I noticed that my brakes had tremendous power when wet but after some braking and when they dried then they started sliding again and i got brake power loss. Water again and then full power back on. Plus black residue on the water when draining from the rotors. What the hell is that? Are my pads ok? Should i take them off and sand them with a sandpaper to get power? I hate waiting for them to bed in!
PS. New XT disc brakes (i already busted your balls about them soooorry).
At least i am now sure that my hydro system is ok and that the problem is with insufficient friction.
